Chetan is Head of Capital Markets at Angeles Operations Group. He is responsible for all capital market activities for new and existing investments and manages the firm’s relationships with public and private market debt investors. In addition, he works alongside the Angeles team to identify and structure investments in companies undergoing transformational change or experiencing capital structure complexity.

Before joining Angeles Operations Group in 2025, Chetan was Co-head of the Financing Advisory & Restructuring Group at Greenhill & Co. in New York. Before that, he was a Managing Director in the Restructuring Groups at Lazard and GLC Advisors. He also served as a senior executive at Toys “R” Us, where he played a central role in its global restructuring process, prior to which he was its Treasurer & Head of Capital Markets. Earlier in his career, he was a Managing Director in the Leveraged Finance Group at Goldman Sachs; before that, he was a Managing Director in the Restructuring Group at UBS and a Vice President in the Investment Banking Division of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in Los Angeles. His transaction experience encompasses global corporate finance activities including event-driven debt and equity financing, M&A transactions, liability management, and corporate restructuring worldwide.

Chetan earned a B.A. in Economics from Brown University, an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School, and a Master of Studies in Law from the USC Gould School of Law.
