Derek is a Vice President at Angeles Equity Partners, where he is responsible for the evaluation, due diligence and execution of new investment opportunities.

Prior to joining Angeles Equity Partners in 2026, Derek was an investment professional at Ardian in its North American buyout fund, where he was primarily responsible for deal evaluation, execution, sourcing and overseeing portfolio companies. Derek began his career in investment banking at Piper Jaffray in the Diversified Industrials and Services group.

Derek earned a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
