Johnson brings substantial experience within private equity operations, driving strategy, transformation, and performance improvement along with strong accounting, treasury, and financial planning and analysis capabilities.
Angeles focuses on revitalizing underperforming industrial businesses with a consistent approach to operational transformation and strategic repositioning. As an operating vice president in Angeles’ affiliated operations group, Johnson will be responsible for the evaluation and due diligence of new investment opportunities, driving post-close transformation, and providing financial oversight across the Angeles portfolio investments.

Before joining Angeles Operations Group, Johnson spent seven years driving operational transformation and diligence initiatives as part of the operations team at Cerberus Capital Management (“Cerberus”). Prior to joining Cerberus, Johnson began his career at Johnson & Johnson, where he graduated from their Finance Leadership Development Program and worked in the Pharmaceutical Portfolio & Commercial Strategy Team. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Villanova University, with a major in Finance and Accounting.
